Hi! I'm Maribel Jimenez, an estate planning attorney licensed in both California and Mexico. At MJ Trust Law, our mission is to help you build your legacy, protect your assets, and ensure the future well-being of your loved ones.
With a diverse cultural background and a life lived across borders, I bring a unique perspective to estate planning. Holding a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of San Diego alongside a Juris Doctor from Universidad Autónoma de Baja California, my educational foundation is both robust and international.
My professional journey has been equally diverse, with roles at the Federal Tax Court, in civil litigation, and as a legal consultant specializing in contracts, real estate, and cross-border transactions. These experiences have sharpened my analytical and strategic skills, allowing me to offer practical and sophisticated legal advice. This combination of cross-cultural understanding and legal expertise makes me the ideal advisor for families, both local and international, navigating the complexities of estate planning.
Additionally, as a parent, I share your values and concerns. My goal is to demystify estate planning and simplify the process. I cater to young individuals and families, blended families, both local and international clients, and business owners, aiming to make estate planning accessible to everyone.
Outside of my professional life, I find joy and balance in yoga, music, engaging conversations, nature walks, and enjoying culinary experiences with friends and family.
